Trua is powered by DigitalCabinet, a secure, compliant data infrastructure used by clinicians, researchers, and nonprofits. DigitalCabinet is developed and maintained by Ethlen Solutions Limited, an independent health tech company that exists to push ethical boundaries forward.

Why I Built This — A Founder's Story
I'm Ian Terry. Before I was a founder, I was a patient.
When I was diagnosed with PXE—a rare genetic disorder, I experienced firsthand how disempowering, opaque, and impersonal our health systems can be. My own data was out of reach. I had no roadmap, no control, no clarity. That experience didn't just change my health, it redefined my purpose.
With a background in UX research and over a decade building healthcare products, I knew we could do better. Trua was born from that vision: a platform where people are at the center. Not as subjects, but as sovereigns.
My wife—a brilliant writer and photographer, and our young daughter have walked every step of this journey with me. They keep this mission human. They remind me that data isn't abstract. It's stories. It's futures. It's people.
Trua is built with stubborn love, technical excellence, and deep respect. It's a product of lived experience and a call for a better way forward.
Security at the Core
Every layer of Trua is built for privacy and protection. We use TLS 1.3 for data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest. Authentication follows industry best practices, and we regularly conduct security audits to stay ahead of threats.
More importantly, access is entirely in your hands. No one sees your data without your clear, revocable consent. And we never sell it. Ever.
